Archive 2004 - Apple Computer's Mac OS X Games Lab

Combining great technologies such as a UNIX-based foundation, OpenGL, OpenAL and the PowerPC architecture, the Macintosh platform is a great platform for game development.

Come by the Mac OS X Game Lab to learn the latest on Mac OS X and the Power Mac G5. Apple technology specialists welcome you to join them in the lab for one of the scheduled technical sessions, or feel free to drop by for a hands-on one-to-one consultation.

You will discover:

  1. Details on the market opportunity for games on the Mac platform
  2. Knowledge of Mac OS X features, capabilities, and architecture
  3. Tools and techniques to develop and optimise for the PowerPC G5 architecture
